ESChat Contact List Presence Icons

Presence is supported for individual contacts, groups and maps according to the Microsoft Communicator Presence Color Codes.  As you view your contact list, each user's most recently reported status will display to the left of their user name.  This status is updated on a -/+10 min registration cycle, unless in an active ESChat PTT call, where the update is nearly in real time.

Contact Presence Icons  

User Status Status Display Icon Description
Available mceclip1.png This contact is currently available.
Unavailable mceclip2.png

This contact is currently unavailable. 
Not Responding mceclip3.png

This contact is not responding to the ESChat server.  This icon will change to "Unavailable" in the next presence update (10-12 minutes), if the condition persists.
In-Call mceclip4.png This contact is currently in another PTT call.
Do-not-Disturb mceclip5.png This contact is in Do-not-Disturb (DnD) mode.
Blocked mceclip0.png You have blocked this contact. 
Signed Out mceclip6.png This contact is signed out of ESChat.

 

Map Presence Icons

Contacts with location enabled will be displayed on the map with their current status as a presence pin.

Pin Status Display Icon Description
Solid Green User is available.
Solid Red User is in a PTT call or in Do- Not- Disturb
Aqua User is the current talker in an ongoing PTT call. 

 

Group List Presence Icons

Groups have a similar set of presence icons reflecting the overall status of the group.

Presence  Presence Icon Description
Solid Green mceclip10.png Group is in an active PTT call.
Green and Grey mceclip9.png Group is available, and not currently in a PTT call. 
Green and Grey with red X mceclip8.png You have blocked this group, and they are not currently in a call.
Solid Green with red X mceclip7.png You have blocked this group. The group is currently in a call and available for late join.
