Android OS 8 Notification Settings

The default Notification setting for Android OS 8 has included a display of an Icon Badge with the number of notifications pending for an application to be shown as a graphical representation.





The user will be notified of the Missed call and New Message status, not the ESChat presence notification.





 There are two ways to remove this overlay.  From the Notification banner, tap Notification Settings.





Tap on the App icon badges text, and select the badge style you wish displayed.





 

Navigate in the Settings Menu, and select Apps.  Then
scroll down to ESChat.


 

Tap the App Icon Badges switch to turn this feature on/off.
