iOS Send and Reply to Messages

The message tab is for reading and replying to any messages.  The act of sending a message does not originate from this tab. Send a message any of the secondary context menus within the app, and send a message from the in-call list or in-call app widget during a call. Add images from the device camera roll or access the camera to take a photo to include in the message.

Send a message from the contacts tab by highlighting a contact, slide to the right, and press the envelope.  You may also send a message to a channel from the channels tab, using the same method.

To send a message from the message tab, go to the message tab and select the write a message icon to bring up the add recipients list.  You highlight one or more users from the contacts tab or you may select a group or channel.  Press Add when you are finished.

Type your message into the box. You may attach an image or take a photo.  You may also add recipients to the message by pressing the + icon to bring up the contacts page.  Press Send when you are ready to send your message. The message shows the delivered and read details on the tab.
