Once started, the call will stay open until a configurable time period or until the last member has left the call. Based on configuration, the call can be idle for up to 2 hours before the call will be dropped.
|Broadcast (Public Safety Announcement)||Support||
A Broadcast group may only be created by ESChat support. Broadcast Groups can have up to 60,000 members.
A Broadcast announcement interrupts an active non-Broadcast PTT call. The Broadcast is sent to all devices that are registered with the system at the time that the call is started. During the time that a Broadcast is active, the server will attempt to contact each registered device from the Broadcast Group for a specific duration of time in order to deliver the Broadcast announcement. Broadcast Calls ignore Do not Disturb (DnD) settings.
