Recent Calls and Call Playback
Recent call history is listed under the Recents tab. Call logs for all 1:1, ad hoc and group calls are retained here until you choose to delete them or upon such time as you sign out of the app. The logs include initiated, received and missed calls. The calls are listed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent call at the top of the list.

Call Details
Each call log includes information on the user or group name of the caller and the date and time of the call. When the call is sent to or comes from a group, the group name will be listed in parenthesis.
Recent Call Icons
There are three icons to indicate call status:
PTT call was placed to listed contact or group. | |
PTT call was received and answered. | |
PTT call was missed. |

Call Playback
ESChat offers a Call Playback Feature available with the ESChat application. These recordings will play only on the devices, and are removed every 24 hours or the oldest record will be overwritten when the storage limit is reached. This company-wide setting must first be enabled in the Administration Portal by an authorized Customer Administrator or through ESChat Support.
Once the record feature has been enabled for your enterprise, you may access these recordings from the Recents tab. Select the call you wish to review, and long press to open the sub-menu. Then, select Playback. |
You may start playback from the beginning of the call by selecting the Play button, or start at a particular section of the call. You have the playback options of: Play, Pause, Skip back 10 seconds, and Skip forward 10 seconds. |
You may delete your recording on the device by selecting the Delete button in the upper right corner of the screen, and selecting OK. |
Please note that this will only delete the recording on your device. The other members of the call will retain their own copy of the call until the next 24 hour period or until the next 24 hour period or storage limit has been reached. A maximum of 100 megabytes of data (roughly 42 minutes at a 4G rate) per day may be stored for playback. Each call may be played back repeatedly during this time. Signing out of ESChat or switching devices will automatically purge the recordings of only your device. When Client Side Recording is disabled in the portal, the stored calls for all of your users will be automatically deleted. |
