iOS Bluetooth Operation
ESChat will use the audio from Bluetooth speakers and ear buds and can also use the PTT functions from from recommended Bluetooth speakers and buttons. The first step is to pair the device in the device itself. Then go to the audio widget and select the audio source. Finally, if you are using a PTT button, customize the PTT setting.
Pair Device in iOS Settings
Go to the iOS device settings and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. Be sure to turn on the bluetooth device and wait for the pairing confirmation as shown in the second image. |
Allow ESChat to use Device Bluetooth
Open ESChat. Respond to any permission request with "Allow." |
iOS Audio Device Menu
On the toolbar, press the sound icon to open the audio device menu. The symbol on the toolbar reflects the audio source. Drag the speaker options to select the audio source. |
PTT Button Configuration
Tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner and select the Settings menu in order to reach the PTT Button item.
Select the PTT Button menu and select Bluetooth LE. |
