iOS Bluetooth Operation
To pair your device with an ESChat app, start at the device settings to turn on bluetooth, and then adjust settings in the app.
Bluetooth Audio Streams
Bluetooth needs to first be enabled in the iOS device settings. Pair the device. Then, within the app, go to go to device settings menu and enable Bluetooth Audio. The image shows "Allow Bluetooth Audio" in the default OFF setting; be sure to slide the switch to turn it on. The Bluetooth Always On option is available to hasten the call set up time for a device, and locks the audio pathway to the app. Other apps will not be able to take audio from the app. This will come at a cost to the battery life. |

PTT Button Pairings
To pair a PTT Button, you need to perform the additional step of configuring the button. Select PTT Button to bring up the menu, change the default "None" setting to Bluetooth LE, and pair the device. You'll see the device represented, as shown. | ![]() |
