iOS General Settings Menu
The General Settings menu is where you can control how the app behaves on your device. Your administrator may configure these settings in the admin portal. Changing the settings on your device will override settings in the portal. You can access the General, Default Sound Profile, and Headset Sound Profile menus via the three dot menu.

| Settings Menu Item | Default Setting | Description |
| PTT Button | None | Sets the type of headset PTT device in use. Choose between Toggle, Bluetooth LE, or None. |
| Notify on Incoming Call | On | Enabling this will present a notification when a PTT call is received and the app is in the background. Whatever the setting, any audio received will be played. |
| Missed Call Endless Alert | Off | Enabling this will cause the ESChat ringtone to play every minute when a PTT call is missed until it is acknowledged by the user. |
| Block PTT Call Start in Background | Off | When app is in background, you will not receive PTT calls. |
| Tie DnD to Silent Switch | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to reject incoming ESChat cals when the device is placed in silent mode using the hardware silent switch. Enabling this feature will incur a 1 second call setup delay when the alert switch is off and calls are accepted. |
| Tie DnD to Focus Mode | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to reject incoming ESChat calls when the device is placed in Do Not Disturb or Driving (if configured) via the Control Center or Focus. |
| Alert Call Ring Time | 30 Seconds | Sets the time, in seconds, that the device will ring when an alert type 1:1 call is received. |
| Default Callee | None | Sets the default contact or group to call when ESChat is in the background. |
| Enable PTT Call Brightness | Off | Enabling this dims the screen to the configured surveillance brightness level. Must be enabled to use PTT Call Brightness. |
| PTT Call Brightness | 100 percent | Set the desired screen brightness during PTT calls. Related to the Enable PTT Call Brightness switch. |
