The Default Sound Profile settings menu contains the customization options for the audio behavior surrounding PTT calls. These settings control how the app sounds as you begin calls, take or revoke the floor. These settings may be left at the defaults or adjusted according to the device type and your work setting.

| Min Call Volume | 25 percent | Sets the minimum volume that a PTT call will start with. If the set volume is below this level at the start of a PTT call, the volume will be raised to this minimum. |
| Volume Boost | 0 | Sets the amount to boost the volume. A value of 0 indicates no change. Note that values above 0 will increasingly distort the audio. |
| Ring Gain | 100 percent | Sets the gain reduction, relative to the main volume, at which the ESChat ring will be played. Full gain indicates no change. |
| Ring on Incoming Call | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the ESChat ringtone once when a PTT call is received. |
| Vibrate on Incoming Call | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to vibrate one when a PTT call is received. |
| Tone Gain | 100 percent | Sets the gain reduction, relative to the main volume, at which the ESChat tones will be played. Full gain indicates no change. |
| Play Grant Tone | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the floor grant tone when the user is granted the floor to speak. |
| Vibrate on Grant | Off | Vibrates the phone when you are granted the floor to talk. |
| Play Taken Tone | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the floor taken tone when another user is granted the floor to speak. |
| Play Idle Tone | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the floor idle tone when the floor becomes available. |
| Play Deny Tone | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the floor deny tone when the user requests the floor but it is already taken by another user. |
| Play Revoke Tone | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the floor revoke tone when the user has talked too long and the floor is taken from the user. |
| Play Call Lost Tone | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the call lost tone when a PTT call is lost or dropped. |
| Play Busy Bonk | Off | Enabling this will cause the app to play the busy bonk when a PTT call cannot go through. |
