Bluetooth Button Operation

In order to use a Bluetooth button with ESChat, first enable Bluetooth and connect the Bluetooth device in the Android device settings menu. Then proceed to the general Settings menu within the ESChat app.

Go to the general Settings menu and scroll to the PTT section. Select PTT Button.

Choose Bluetooth LE or SPP depending on your device.  If you are connecting a Bluetooth LE device, you will need to pair it specifically on this list.

About Bluetooth Always On

The Bluetooth Always On option is available to hasten the call set up time for a device, and locks the audio pathway to the app.  Other apps will not be able to take audio from the app. This will come at a cost to the battery life.

To enable Bluetooth Always On, go to the general settings menu and click on the advanced settings menu check box.

Bluetooth Always On is shown enabled.
