Create an Emergency PTT Group
Emergency PTT calls offer an insistent flashing visual signal and must be acknowledged by all available group members. First the group must be created in the portal, and then the group members must each be configured to be part of the group. To enable this calling feature, first create a closed group that will be configured as the Emergency Call Group.
For our example we named the group "Emergency" and added members to the group. First add the user Quinn Herrington to the group, then add the group as the Emergency Group under call settings. See the article for creating a group here.
Navigate to the User tab, and under Settings select Edit Client Settings. You may also create a Call Settings Template and add the Emergency settings to multiples group members' devices.
From the resulting Modify Client Settings window, click on the Emergency tab. Select the drop down menu and choose from the list of available groups to receive the Emergency calls.
The settings for how long a user must hold the Emergency Call button to initiate or cancel an emergency call status can now be adjusted from the Call tab, located within this Emergency tab.
The Initiator and Receiver tabs will allow you to adjust audio/visual device settings used for the Emergency Call.
