1:1 Barge Calls

A 1:1 call begins with selecting an available contact from your contacts list.  Upon call connection, your initial voice burst will "barge" through to the recipient's phone.  Your device may not be configured for 1:1 operation, in which case you may not be able to view the contacts tab.  Confirm with your Customer Admin. 

1:1 Barge Call

To initiate a 1:1 Barge call, select a single recipient from the Contacts Tab

Begin at the Contacts Tab.

Select and highlight the intended contact, which will turn the PTT screen green.  Press and hold "Push to Talk" to initiate the call.

Upon hearing the grant tone, begin speaking. Release the PTT screen when done speaking. The call will appear as part of the channel tab. You may tap to expand the call widget and display the in-call list.   To end the call, Press "RX" either on the channel list or the expanded call widget, or wait until the call idle times out.

1:1 Calls and the Map Tab

To make a call from the map, use the secondary or context menu to show a contact on the map.  Then press the geo select button for that recipient. Press the green Push To Talk screen to initiate the call. Upon call connection, your initial voice burst will "barge" through to the recipient's phone. 

Highlight a contact and long press to reach the secondary menu. Select "Show on Map." Tap the geo select button (the pin with a plus) to select the intended contact on the map. Press and hold "Push to Talk."

Upon hearing the grant tone, begin speaking.  Release "Push to Talk" when you are finished speaking.

Tap the call widget to reach the call list.  All call participants are shown on the in call list and the expanded call widget.  The talking participant is indicated in the top status bar.  To request the floor, press and hold "Push to Talk."

1:1 Barge Calls from a Contact Search

You can make a 1:1 call from a contact search and avoid scrolling down a long list of contacts. Select your intended recipient from the suggested list of contacts. Then, proceed with the call. For more information about the contact search function, click here. Note:  This process is shown on a device configured for the Channels Tab, but is the same for all devices configured to show the Contacts Tab.  

Use the search box to type the first letters of your contact.  Type into the search bar. The app will sort your contact list for names relevant to your inquiry.

Select your intended recipient and press the green "Push to Talk" screen.  Upon hearing the grant tone, begin speaking.  Release "Push to Talk" when finished.

To request the floor, press "Push to Talk." You may end the call by letting the call idle time out or you may expand the call widget and press the RX box,
