Multi Call Monitoring
The Channel Tab operation permits multi call monitoring. You can monitor the call traffic of up to four channels. These channels can be manually chosen, or chosen by default, as the four highest priority groups according to their configuration in the Administration Portal. A configurable dwell timer allows the PTT screen or button to respond to traffic from another channel that you are monitoring. For an overview of the Channel Tab, please click here.
Monitored channels appear in an expanded call widget as each channel opens. |
The expanded call widget will display which calls are transmitting. The dwell timer buffers the incoming transmittal from that channel and will play after the first channel. |
Deselect RX to end a call and discontinue monitoring that channel. |
Choose RX to select new channels to monitor. Change the TX to select a different channel for transmittal. |
