Respond to a Request to Talk Message in the PC Client
When a user attempts to call a PC Client user who is on another PTT call, they will receive a busy bonk. An option appears for that user to send a message to the busy PC Client user.
Once the message is received on the PC Client, it will appear in an ordered list, with the newest message at the top of the list.
In the example shown below, the PC Client user, Dispatch.1, is in a call with Goodwin.Charles. A user attempts a call to him, gets a busy bonk and an option to send a message to Dispatch.1 with a Request to Talk message.
Dispatch.1, in call, will see the Messages tab turn red. Dispatch.1 can end the current call, and open the message tab as shown. Ingersol.Ted has left a message to call back. |
Click on the message to highlight the user, and press "Push to Talk" to initiate the call to the user Ingersol.Ted. Click "End Call" to finish the call. |
