Bulk Add Users Template
To add users via the bulk loading tool, follow the instructions in the article here. Here are the instructions for filling out the .xlsx template.
Field | Menu Type | Description |
Action | Drop down | Required. Use the action supplied in the drop down menu. |
Customer | Fill in | Required. Fill in with your customer name. |
Department | Fill in | Required. Fill in with the department name. |
User Login | Fill in | Required. Unique User name that will be seen by other devices in the Enterprise. This field must be made up of characters, numbers and “.”s, and be 3-24 characters long. Example formats are John.Smith or Bus.57. |
First Name | Fill in | Required. User’s first name. This field must be at least one character. |
Last Name | Fill in | Required. User’s last name. This field must be at least one character. |
Country | Drop down | Required. The default country for this enterprise. This field will supply the telephone prefix. Use the abbreviations supplied by the drop down menu. |
Phone Number | Fill in | Optional. Must be empty or less than 20 characters. This field needs to be filled out if you intend to send activation texts to these devices. |
Fill in | Optional. Activation messages will be sent if this field is populated. | |
IMEI | Fill in | Optional. Reserved for Android OS 9 or prior. |
Send Text | Drop down | Required. Choose Yes or No from the menu. |
Client Type | Drop down | Required. Select the correct type for this user from the choices available in the drop down menu. |
Activation Type | Drop down | Required. Select Activation code for immediate activation upon upload, Inactive for manual activation later. |
Maximal Contacts | Drop down | Required. Select Yes to have all department members added to the new user's contact lis and to include this user into their contact list. |
Feature Key Template | Fill in | Optional. To attach these users to an existing feature key template, fill in the name of the template. |
Settings Template | Fill in | Optional. To attach these users to an existing settings template, fill in the name of the template. |
