Alert a Contact from a D-Pad Device

Alert calls are a request to talk rather than a PTT barge call.  The alert function is located on the secondary menu available from the contacts tab. Initiated and accepted alert calls display on the channel screen.  

Highlight your intended contact and long press to bring up the secondary menu.  Once the menu is open, choose and press Alert Call to initiate the alert.

A message will indicate the alert has begun.  Scroll to the lower right corner to cancel the alert.

Once the recipient has accepted the alert and the call has begun, the call will display on the channel screen as any other PTT call. To end the call, let it idle timeout or manually deselect the TX.
