Aina PTT Smart Button

 To pair the Aina PTT Smart Button for use with your ESChat app in Android and iOS:

iOS Devices

1. Make sure the device you want to pair is turned on and within 30 feet of your phone.

2. Enable Bluetooth in the device settings.  Open the ESChat app to pair the device in the app settings.

3. To clear the Smart Button, hold down all 3 buttons.

   
   

4. The large button will glow red when it is cleared, and then turn green when it is ready to pair.

5. Go to Settings on your iOS device and enable Bluetooth.

6. In the ESChat app press the “More” tab and then “Settings.” Select “PTT Button.”

7. In the drop-down menu, select Bluetooth LE.

8. Press the PTT button to encourage a connection.

9. When the connection is successful, you’ll see the device and the picture to connect it.

10. Press the back arrow to reach the settings menu, and see that the device is listed there as shown in the example below. Make sure that “Allow Bluetooth Audio” is turned on.

11. Press “Done” to exit out of the Client Settings Menu, and your device is now ready for use.

Android Devices

1. Make sure the device you want to pair is turned on and within 30 feet of your phone.

2. To clear the Smart Button, hold down all 3 buttons.

3. Go to the settings on your Android device and enable Bluetooth.

4. Scan for available devices and select the Aina Smart Button from the list.

*Note: The device will be identified by the part number found on the back of the button.  

Additionally, Android will show as “Paired” but not “Connected”.  This does not affect the operation of the button and is expected.

In ESChat , go to “Settings” and select “PTT Button”.

From the “Connection Type” option, select “Bluetooth LE”.

The button will now be enabled.
