Client Settings
Default client settings are preselected based on ESChat customers' most common needs. There are many options for customization that affect call behavior. If "Display on Phone" is not selected, then the setting chosen in the portal will be accurate as the user cannot see the feature to adjust manually. Otherwise, some settings that are available on the device's settings menu will override settings that are set in the portal.
Not all settings shown apply equally to Android, iOS and the PC Client. To edit client settings for a user, view that user and choose Settings. Select the Edit Client Settings feature key.
The resulting pop up window displays as a series of tabs representing different categories of call settings. The images below reflect the default settings for reference. On the left side, you see the settings. On the right, where appropriate, the choice to display or not in the settings within the app.
